Mike Shinoda Remix out October 18th
Depeche Mode release a new version of, 'Enjoy The Silence', remixed by Mike Shinoda, out October 18th. The single's B-side is a unique mix of the Depeche Mode classic, 'Halo' by Goldfrapp. Also included is a Timo Maas remix of 'Enjoy The Silence', which has become one of the most demanded and talked about remixes of the summer, and the equally powerful Ewan Pearson remix, both set to be big club tracks for the rest of the year.
"Depeche Mode is one of the most influential groups of our time", says Mike Shinoda. "Their music is an inspiration to me, and I am excited for our fans to hear my take on one of my favourite Depeche Mode songs."
Both tracks features on the forthcoming eagerly anticipated, "Depeche Mode Remixes 81-04", a 2-disc set spanning over 20 years of Depeche Mode's pioneering remixes, out October 25th. Almost a greatest hits collection, the album is a compendium of Depeche Mode classics remixed by some of the best remixers in the world, including Underworld, Air, Kruder and Dorfmeister, Portishead, Francois Kevorkian, Danny Tenaglia, & Timo Maas.
A 1 track digital single will be available on the 27th of September, available from all online e-tail sites and also from depechemode.com.
